You will arrive by midday on Friday. We will pick you up and take you to the eye hospital to carry out the preliminary examination.

The area responsible for the visual defect is marked with a laser and a small incision is then created in just 8 seconds without any contact with the cornea. Through a 2 mm incision, the portion causing the visual defect is removed without the need to lift the lid. This excised portion eliminates the deformity responsible for the visual defect, resulting in the desired visual improvement.

Young patients under the age of 18 are typically not considered for laser eye surgery due to ongoing growth changes in the eye. Additionally, before undergoing laser eye surgery, it’s essential for the refractive error in the eye to remain stable for at least a year, minimizing the need for further interventions. Furthermore, the patient must have overall healthy eyes without any concurrent eye diseases besides the refractive error.
Moreover, specific diopter values must be within certain limits for successful laser eye surgery:
- Nearsightedness should not exceed -10 diopters.
- Astigmatism should not exceed -6 diopters.
- Additionally, the corneal thickness should be at least 0.55mm to ensure the safety and effectiveness of the procedure.
